Many of our animals have experienced what is surely hell on earth. Their lot is to have been born into an alien world where their natural instincts are denied... The battery hen who will never scratch the earth, feel sunshine or rain... The calf shot when a few days old so that mankind may drink its mother's milk... The kitten and the puppy shown warmth, comfort and then discarded.

We will send you a Certificate with a picture of your Special Friend, and who you can visit on our many open days. The Special Friend you choose has found Sanctuary from misery, from which death would have been the only escape.
