Charlie
Charlie was rescued form Henley Market. Like so many unwanted horses he was destined to end up being sold to a meat man and sent for slaughter. However, some kind-hearted animal loving friends stepped in to save Charlie and he has lived at Hillfields ever since.
Of all of the animals at Hillfields, the horses cost the most to look after, both in terms of day-to-day feeding and for vets bills when they need special medical attention. |
