Gizmo the Rabbit

Before he came to us, Gizmo lived as a house pet, marginally better than being confined in a small cage as were so many rabbits and this meant he'd never felt the grass beneath his paws or the warm sun on his fur. Made homeless after he and his owner got evicted, he now has a more contented and natural life with his own shed and run, in the company of his best friend Bessie the hen.

They live and eat together and whenever she gets broody, she clucks at him and treats him just like her chick which he seems to love! He's also friends with his neighbour Hartley the Hare, they sniff and snuffle happily at each other through the wire.
