Bessie the Cat

Bessie was in another rescue but had 2 things stacked against her. She was feral, so terrified of people, and only had one eye, so looked odd. No one wanted her and she languished in her pen for too long. At Hillfields we don't mind if animals aren't cute & cuddly, if we have space and funds, we will take them in regardless. So Bessie joined the other 45 resident cats, and now enjoys her freedom with the ferals, sleeping in comfort on the settee in the barn or other cosy places of her choice.

Devoted to Lyn, she follows her everywhere. She'll never be a 'lapcat' as she is still unhandleable, but she has everything she needs here and a lovely natural life.
