"Have a Heart for Hillfields" Meal/Social - 13-02-11

Back by popular request for the second year running, this event was gratifyingly sold out within days of advertising it. Our supporters enjoy the chance to eat & socialise with like-minded folk at the same time as raising funds for the sanctuary!

Liz Hughes & Jo Goodyear didn't disappoint & prepared a lovely 3 course vegan meal with a Mexican theme for 40 people.

Thanks to them for their hard work, also to Robin Clarke in his role as Chief Washer-Upper!

Extra funds were raised by the raffle with lots of Valentine themed prizes eg. check out the photo of Julie's latest creation "The Chocolate Explosion" a veritable feast of vegan chocs displayed like a sumptuous bouquet!

Also adding to the coffers were sales from the ever popular cake & cookie stall & sponsorship certificates of some of the resident animals.

A total of �800 was raised to help towards some of the escalating feed & veterinary costs that Lyn has to contend with.
